Various Field Trial Hall of Fame Inductions
set for Feb. 2008 One of the highlights of the sporting dog world, the annual induction ceremonies for those elected by the various groups to the Field Trial Hall of Fame, is again slated for the BDF facilities in Grand Junction, Tennessee. The upcoming events will host a full day of activities commencing at 10:00 a.m. (central) on Saturday, February 9, 2008. The new inductees include 11 distinguished people and 11 outstanding dogs. Participation will be boosted by the inclusion for the first time of inductees representing German Shorthaired Pointers. According to the wishes of the BDF Board, the events will again coincide with the kick-off weekend of the National Field Trial Championship for pointing dogs at the nearby Ames Plantation. Saturday, February 9, 2008 10:00 am Convene for Retriever FTHF inductions - (Spaniels immediately following) Welcome & Introductions – Dale Bush, BDF President Life Patron & Patron Memorial Honorees recognized – David Fletcher, BDF Vice-Pres.
